Focus Group

Study

 

I am going to carry out a study using people my age. This shall be a focus group and I will interview them to find out what teenagers expect from a music magazine, and what it should contain. I will use their feedback to create my own magazine that will fit what they have described. The questions I will ask are the following:

Q1. Do you buy any music magazines?

Q2. What would you expect the front of a music magazine to look like?

Q3. Would you be more likely to buy the magazine if there was a free gift/offer?

Q4. Do you prefer weekly, less expensive magazines to monthly, costly magazines?

Q5. Do you prefer an entire band on the front of magazines, of just one member?

Q6. How many pages would a weekly music magazine have compared to a monthly music magazine?

Q7. What would you expect the main article of a music magazine to be about?

Q8. Finally, what genre music magazine would you prefer to buy?
