Evaluation

I have made sure not to have 'blocky' type graphics and texts, so this show my product flows and makes it more believable. On every piece of text, I have added a shadow beind it, this is too make it stand out against the background. This also adds a dark quality to my magazine, which fits the genre of rock. Hayley is shown in bright, floral clothing, which isn't conventional of rock artists and magazines, however this is her style, and the audience will recognise her faster in her bright clothing. I have not included any musical instruments in my magazine, this is unconventional, however Hayley is a frontman of a band, and to have her holding an instrument would make it less believable on a whole. The barcode is towards the top of the magazine, which is unconventional, however if I'd have placed it anywhere else it would have blocked the main image, which would decrease the believability of my magazine, therefore I am happy where I have place it. I have made my magazine at the price of £2.50, which is 30 pence more expensive than Kerrang however I will make my magazine slightly longer in the contents page. When I do my final front cover, I will decrease the price to £2, as I have to take into account that my target audience is students, who do not usually have much money, and to have a weekly magazine at £2.50 per week is too expensive.
